For this assignment, each student was assigned a set of words drawn from a hat, I received "blue" and "flamingo." Our goal was to brainstorm possible companies that could fit our name, then create a company logo, magazine spread, website layout, and package design.
I decided to make a surf shop based on the light-hearted and playful name of Blue Flamingo. My logo design focuses around a retro island vibe that reflects the golden age of surfing, but also speaks to today's youth. The magazine spread and webpage layout are kept simplistic and free, with short motivating quotes and great images to keep the buyers attention and interest.
